something that really bothers me is the concept of whole souled expected to do your best its confusing to most because the wtbs defines it as "you can never do enough" live in a state of urgency it''s crazy people need to understand that everyone can pick up a heavy weight for a brief time but you can't continue you have to put it down thats normal. the best you can do in life is what you can maintain on a regular basis and still feel positive, rested, even. The org pushes people and makes one feel somehow inadequate and insists on feeling happy while performing useless tasks it eventually drives you crazy and you lose your humanity to yourself and others.

If you can't really talk about what is really on your mind honestly and frankly that person is not your friend it's a rude awakening when you understand that every person at the hall has an organizational filter in front of them and if you say anything outside the box a wave of suspicion comes over them you can actually see it. everything started to unravel for us as people began reporting unusual converstions coming from our mouths people we trusted we were called in threatened with apostasy we engaged in our own version of theocratic warfare initally but than decided to walk out the door and never return.

Music preferences and books
by XPeterX ini have recenly had a conversation with some elders and they told me that i shouldn't listen to music that's heavy,meaning distorder guitar riffs,breakdowns brutal vocals even if the lyrics are positive.secondly they say that we shouldn't read books that mention anything related to "spiritualism" but all of the jws study odyssey,history,ancient greek language at school and all of these subjects refer to the pantheon,heathen stuff etc.my question is:how to can someone abstain from reading these things if he is taught them at school while the elders are informed about it?how music can harm anyone if the lyrics are ok even if the music is fast or heavy or both?.

they believe the a whole world is in satan's hands so everything that isn't from them is suspect. technically every movie,song or piece of literature has something wrong with it. So if your want to play their game don't go to any movies or watch any tv or read anything except watchtower pubs their bible and cultivate a taste for kingdom melodies. Enjoy your life!

I'm so sick of all this redefining of trivia plan/ purpose, sanctification/vindication, generation whose the king of the north, They are clueless most witnesses don't know what they believe anymore their afraid to leave or question. after people have been putting their coins in the slot machine for decades it's hard to walk away and admit it was a waste of time and a scam. people have to try to walk away even if it hurts and seems really costly because it's not going to get better.
